Very thankful to have been chosen among amazing artists and designers in the annual poster exhibiton made by cairo politan for one of my favorite posters about women weaversand was inspired by a feminist movement that started in the Bauhaus to stop discriminating the female weavers and appreciate their role as they are the one’s who started this industry.Nonetheless I wanted people to get to know and appreciate Arab women weavers as well and that’s what inspired this poster the arabic typography in the center is all made by ink and represented the weaving board.
